Please help your reps learn how to give better PowerPoint presentations!

Does your sales team utilize PowerPoint slides when presenting to their customers, dealers or re-sellers? When was the last time you saw an interesting and informative presentation using PowerPoint slides?

Most reps today are poorly trained on how to deliver persuasive and effective PowerPoint presentations. How many slides being used by your team are just copies of your existing printed brochures or screen captures of your website?

I’ve sat through too many of these presentations, usually when a supplier is buying lunch for our all-day training class so they can give a 15-minute presentation after lunch. Most of these presentations keep repeating the same error of too many words on a slide using too small a type to be easily read. Another major error is trying to put multiple major points or ideas on a single slide. Slides are meant to support what the presenter is saying by providing a visual outline. Are your reps instead using their slides as a Teleprompter script to be read by them with their back turned to the audience?

A poor or ineffective PowerPoint presentation can ruin a selling opportunity and even hurt a client relationship. What can you do, as the leader of your team, to review the PowerPoint slides being utilized to look for ways to improve the visual impact of your team’s selling message?

I have some suggestions! Join me as I share how you can help your sales reps deliver more persuasive and effective PowerPoint presentations of why buy from you…so they can sell even more!
